You can now support the Deutsch Happen project with the purchase of my art!
The first limited series of five has the title “Brandenburger Tor, Berlin 2016” and is a stylized 90×140 mm (3.54 inch x 5.51 inch) picture of the Brandenburg Gate.
I chose this theme for my first series as the Brandenburg Gate is an emblematic landmark of my hometown Berlin. The Brandenburg Gate is an 18th century neoclassical triumphal arch in Berlin, and one of the best-known landmarks of Germany and a symbol of the reunification 25 years ago.
Each piece in this limited edition comes from the same handcrafted stamp, yet each is an original and thus slight differences may appear. Each one is numbered, signed and dated.
I chose acrylic on paper, and black on white for the first series of five.
You can purchase your Brandenburger Tor for 12 EUR (includes shipping), and we’ll send it to your address anywhere in the world. Payments can be made via PayPal.
The proceeds from selling the artwork will be used to fund content creation (blog posts, videos, other forms of content, social media, other) for Deutsch Happen so that learners anywhere in the world can take these resources and learn German for free.
